Motifs/Patterns: The saree body displays a vibrant green silk with intricate all-over brocade work. The brocade pattern features delicate floral motifs woven into the fabric, creating a textured, dimensional effect. The continuous floral design across the entire body gives the saree a luxurious, opulent appearance while maintaining the lightweight quality characteristic of Gadwal silk. The pallu is an extraordinary display of weaving artistry, featuring elaborate zari work with multiple floral motifs. Large paisley (mango) motifs are arranged in vertical rows along the black section, set against a diamond mesh pattern in gold that creates a shimmering net background. Lotus medallions and traditional temple flower designs are interspersed throughout, separated by decorative horizontal bands with geometric and floral combinations. A stunning sunburst border design with radiating patterns adorns the top edge, completing this magnificent pallu.
Border Details: The striking black border creates a bold contrast against the green body, accentuated by a gold zari band separating the two sections. The border showcases dense hand-woven flower jaal work in gold with traditional geometric patterns running along the edge. Multiple decorative bands with rich zari detailing frame the entire saree, highlighting the masterful craftsmanship.
Special Techniques: This Gadwal saree exemplifies the traditional interlocked weave (kupadam) technique, where the brocade body, border, and pallu are woven separately and then expertly joined. The brocade work is created using supplementary weft technique, where additional threads are woven into the base silk to create raised floral patterns

Care Instructions: Only dry cleaning. Never steam iron. If ironing at home, place a cotton/mulmul cloth on top of the saree and use your iron at the lowest heat setting. Our skilled artisans use natural dyes for all our handloom collection and this will protect the intricate zari work, fabric and wont harm your precious handloom.
Store in a cotton bag or a muslin cloth to protect against moisture.
