“Handloom sarees are woven entirely by hand on traditional looms. The minor variations in weave are the artisan's signature — proof that no other saree in the world is exactly this one.”

Color: Fuchsia Pink
Silk Type: Mulberry silk
Loom Type: Handloom
Blouse Piece: Included
Motifs/Patterns: This gharchola comes in a vibrant fuchsia pink, bright and festive, the kind of colour that feels like a celebration the moment you put it on. Golden tested zari checks run across it, and inside each check sit white bandhani patterns, made by hand-tying tiny dots of fabric before dyeing, with small touches of yellow. Framing it all is a royal Marodi-inspired silver border. It’s woven in pure gaji silk with a satin weave, so it feels smooth and silky against the skin and falls beautifully into soft, shiny folds. It’s an easy pick for a wedding, and just as right for parties, Navratri, Durga Puja, Karva Chauth, Diwali or any celebration. You don’t have to think twice. The saree comes with an attached blouse piece in the same fuchsia pink. It has a bandhani border along with the Marodi-inspired silver border, so the blouse matches the saree perfectly. The pallu drops the checks and becomes a larger bandhani design: bold diamond medallions, scrolling vines and rows of dotted lines in white and yellow running across the fuchsia. It ends in a wide band of shimmering golden tissue, framed by the Marodi-inspired border. The saree finishes with handmade tassels: balls covered in handloom tissue, decorated with pearls, zircons, zardozi work and crystal stitching.
Border Details: The border is Marodi-inspired: a double border in silver, filled with rows of small flowers and fine scrolling vines, finished with a scalloped edge. It runs along the full length of the saree, top and bottom, and wraps around the pallu, so the whole saree is framed like a royal shawl. The muted gold against the bright fuchsia gives it a festive, regal look, and it’s the detail that makes this gharchola feel special rather than everyday.
Special Techniques: Gaji silk. Gaji silk comes from Gujarat. It’s pure silk woven in a satin weave, where the threads are arranged so that long, smooth strands float on the surface. That’s why gaji silk is so glossy and silky, and why it drapes and catches light so beautifully. The gharchola. The fuchsia silk is woven on the handloom with golden tested zari checks built into the fabric. The finished cloth is then hand-tied for bandhani: artisans pinch tiny points of fabric and tie each one tightly with thread, then dye the cloth. The tied points stay white, and when the threads are untied, the dots form the patterns inside each check. Every dot is tied by hand, which is why bandhani takes so long to make. The zari. The zari is tested zari: a silk core wrapped in metallic thread, checked for quality and consistency. It isn’t real gold; “tested” refers to the verified quality of the zari. The silk core keeps it soft, so it moves smoothly with the silk. The Marodi-inspired border. The double border is embroidered separately in muted gold thread, in the style of traditional Marodi work: rows of small flowers, fine scrolling vines and a scalloped edge, worked with precision so every motif stays even and identical along the full length of the saree. The finished border is then attached along the edges of the saree and around the pallu. To keep it comfortable, the back of the border is lined with a double layer of handloom tissue. This soft lining covers the reverse of the embroidery, so the border doesn’t feel prickly or poke the skin, even after hours of wear.
Season: All seasons

Care Instructions: Only dry cleaning. Never steam iron. If ironing at home, place a cotton/mulmul cloth on top of the saree and use your iron at the lowest heat setting. Our skilled artisans use natural dyes for all our handloom collection and this will protect the intricate zari work, fabric and wont harm your precious handloom. Store in a cotton bag or a muslin cloth to protect against moisture."
