The entire saree — body, borders, and pallu — is covered in what the master weaver and designer of this piece calls the "face jaal": a continuous, large-scale jamdani design that flows unbroken from end to end across the full six yards. The motifs are bold, contemporary, and almost abstract in their scale — sweeping curvilinear forms, concentric circles, geometric blocks, spirals, and botanical elements that fill the sheer ground with extraordinary density and movement. The pallu continues the same face jaal without break, with the motifs shifting in scale — large, dramatic floral and abstract forms that billow across the sheer pink ground like an art piece in fabric.
The thread work is a masterful exercise in colour on colour. The jamdani motifs are woven in an extremely pale pink — just a shade lighter than the baby pink base — creating a tonal, almost tone-on-tone effect where the design reveals itself through texture and light rather than contrast.
