The body is scattered all over with Jamdani booties, woven evenly throughout the saree. The placement is lovely — fine motifs spread across the rose quartz ground, keeping it light, pretty, and beautifully balanced from end to end.

Special Techniques: Jamdani is one of the most demanding handloom crafts in the world, and a pure 120-count muslin like this is a fine, delicate weave. It's yarn-dyed — the threads are coloured first, then woven — so the colour sits deep and true in the cloth.
The skill is in the technique. The muslin base is woven from very fine cotton yarn (the higher the count, the thinner and more fragile the thread), and on that lightweight ground each motif is added by hand. Using a fine needle-like tool, the weaver inserts supplementary pattern threads between the base threads, motif by motif, right on the loom — no printing, no machine, no shortcut. Every booti and the broad floral pallu are built this way, thread by thread.
That's exactly what makes it special. Spinning and weaving such fine muslin without the yarn breaking takes great care, and hand-inserting every motif on top of it is slow, patient work that can take weeks on the loom. The result is a saree that's feather-light yet richly detailed — pure handcraft passed down over generations.

Care Instructions: Only dry cleaning. Never steam iron. If ironing at home, place a cotton/mulmul cloth on top of the saree and use your iron at the lowest heat setting.
